Diane SpodarekDiane Spodarek is a Canadian-American artist and writer with a background in the visual and performing arts. Her awards include artist’s fellowships from the NEA, the New York Foundation for the Arts, Creative New Zealand, and the Michigan Council for the Arts. Her creative work appears in various anthologies including Dumped: Women Unfriending Women, and is forthcoming in the anthology Detroit Music from the Early 1900’s to Eminem, Wayne State University Press, Detroit. She performed her one-person show, “The Drunk Monologues,” in New York City, Michigan, Japan and New Zealand. She was a featured reader of her work at the 92nd Street Y Tribeca and is a member of PEN. Diane lives in Westbeth Artists’ Housing in the West Village, NYC. http://tinyurl.com/dspodarek
