Editors-in-Chief: Chad Gilpin & Gary Thomas Smith
Chad is an MFA candidate in creative nonfiction at the University of Kentucky, with undergraduate degrees in photography and English. He is a native of Central Kentucky, and he enjoys spending his free time with his wife exploring a mutual love of his home state, nature, art, design and literature.
Gary is a writer from Eastern Kentucky. His work has appeared in Stirring: A Literary Collection, Inscape, and The Pikeville Review, among other places. He has an MA in English from Ohio University and is currently pursuing an MFA in fiction at the University of Kentucky.
Chelsie Abney is a senior at the University of Kentucky. She studies English and plans to have a career in editing one day.
Kate Heinonen is a sophomore attending UK with an English Major and the Creative Writing Option added on. When they’re not busy reading and editing their various writing projects, Kate enjoys wandering through discounted book stores and wishing they had a room in their house with wall to wall bookshelves. Kate is so excited to be joining the Limestone team, and can’t wait to learn more about the editing and publishing business!
Julia Mikulec is a junior English Major with plans to become a high school English teacher. When she's not reading manuscripts for Limestone you can find her in the Writing Center working as a peer tutor.
