Ada Limón is a poet whose unique voice has spurred the creation of four books of poetry, and has also garnered critical acclaim and multiple awards. Her most recent book of poetry, Bright Dead Things, was not only a Finalist for the 2015 National Book Award in Poetry, but was also awarded the 2015 National Book Critics Circle Award, and was inducted into the Top Ten Poetry Books of the Year by The New York Times.

A member of the faculty at both Queens University of Charlotte Low Residency MFA Program and the 24Pearl Street online program for the Provincetown Fine Arts Work Center, Ada Limón continues her work as a freelance writer. Along with Bright Dead Things, she has published Lucky Wreck, This Big Fake World, and Sharks in the Rivers as her other books of poetry.

Limestone is happy to welcome Ada Limón to the University of Kentucky's campus on Wednesday, November 16th at 7:00 in the Holmes Hall Performance Studio! It's sure to be a great night, and it's hosted by the Department of English and the Creative Writing MFA Program.
